What is Desert Fox Events?

Desert Fox Events is a collaboration of several long time professionals in the event business. We are dedicated to hosting high action, objective oriented gaming events around the country while utilizing the “Blue Fox Tracker” to enhance gameplay.

What is the Blue Fox Tracker?

The Blue Fox Tracker is an app developed by Desert Fox Events specifically to create fun, fast paced, objective oriented gameplay. All objectives, respawns, medics and team communications are handled through the app for an exciting new style of gameplay based on smart phone devices with cellular service. All Desert Fox Events are hosted on venues with good service through major cell networks.  The app is available for free download on the Apple and Android stores.

What are the different factions and uniform requirements?

There are two factions at Desert Fox Events; The Southern Syndicate and Eastern Royal Trading.

The Southern Syndicate wears light colored uniforms such as grey, tan, desert camouflage, and Multicam. Their accent colors are blue and grey.
Eastern Royal Trading wears dark colored uniforms such as black, green, and woodland camouflage. Their accent colors are red and black. 

How old do you have to be to attend?

We allow participants as young as 13 to attend our events with a legal guardian. 

All participants under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by their parent and notarized by a notary public.

Additionally, participants ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian that is registered to play at our events as well. 

Note that while we allow minors to attend, our events are designed for a mature audience and require a level of self-control and respect not typically found in minors. Please consider this before signing up or registering minors as it can negatively affect your experience and the experience of those around you.

Where do you hold events?

We hold events across the US, check out our tickets or Facebook page for details on current events.

What are the different replica restrictions and FPS limits?

Pistols, shotguns and rifles are limited to 400 FPS w/.20G. For more details check out our rules here

Is Friday check-in required?

It is HIGHLY recommended. Those who do not attend check-in on Friday will likely not be able to start their experience on time and the rest of their faction will suffer those consequences.

Are we required to sleep at the field?

No. Camping at the field is generally almost always available, however, it is not required. Most players generally elect to stay in hotels.

Do I HAVE to use the Blue Fox Tracker app?

No; but it will lessen your playing experience. Faction wins and losses are determined via the Blue Fox Tracker. If you do not have the Blue Fox Tracker, you must be on a squad with someone who as a working app if you hope to win.

Do I need to supply my own armband, tourniquet or glow belt?

Armbands are supplied by Enola Gaye. If you have an armband from a previous event, feel free to bring it so that you may identify your faction on both arms. This helps to prevent friendly fire.

MilSim West tourniquets are available for purchase, both on-site, and online. We do not provide them.

Glow belts are mandatory for use as a dead rag. This lowers confusion between players, and is more identifiable than a red rag. These are available for purchase, both on-site and online. We do not provide them.

Can I use my vehicle at Desert Fox Events?

No. Some exceptions will be made (in the case of military or other ultra specialized vehicles) but MUST be cleared by DFE Admins prior to the event. Message the Facebook page for more details.

Can I use the Blue Fox Tracker for free at my own field without going to an event?

No. Apps cost tens of thousands of dollars to build; it is currently not available for free for that reason.

Are there refunds if I decide not to attend or leave early?

NO REFUNDS.
